On Sunday, September 22, Phillips Law Group hosted a football game tailgate event at the Arizona Cardinals vs. Detroit Lions matchup at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. Clients of the firm, team members, and fans of the Cardinals got to enjoy food, beverages, merch, and each other’s company at one of the earliest games in the season for the hometown team.
Arizona Cardinals Football Game Tailgate Event Draws Smiles from Long-time Clients
Several Phillips Law Group clients were invited to attend this special tailgate event before the big game, and a few special guests were in attendance to make it even more entertaining.
“I think the clients really enjoyed the photo opportunity with ‘Big Red’ and the cheerleaders and they loved getting some free Cardinals merch,” Christian Conrad, the Social Media Specialist at the firm, said, referring to the team’s mascots and talented cheer squad.
“It was a warmer day but still fun,” she added. “They were playing against the Lions and Juan Roque (Intake Manager & Referral Coordinator at Phillips Law Group) is a former Detroit Lions player and some of the Lions fans who were there were excited to meet him!”
Connecting with the Cardinals and Each Other
Those in attendance got branded t-shirts and hats to take home, and the chance to spend some time with members of the Phillips Law Group team. One individual, Maggie Maria, has been a fan of the firm for nearly 30 years after Jeffrey Phillips, the founding partner of the firm, helped her with a custody dispute.
“He gave me the legal advice that I needed,” she explained, adding that she was around 19 years old at the time.
“Since then, I’ve been a fan of him.”
