As part of a new collaboration with NourishPHX, Phillips Law Group volunteered in the organization’s food pantry on September 6th and ultimately had the privilege of helping 200 residents with food donation boxes. Volunteering with NourishPHX is just one way the firm works hard to fulfill its goal of helping those in need in the community just as we strive to help our clients every day.
A handful of Phillips Law Group volunteers worked together at this service opportunity to build food boxes and help push out food carts, guaranteeing that crucial provisions reached those in need in our community. They also provided donuts and coffee to the staff and volunteers, helping those who were there helping others stay happy, alert, and ready to assist individuals who came to NourishPHX for help.
Many Phoenix residents face economic challenges when it comes to food, clothing, job placement, and more, and NourishPHX works hard to offer resources to satisfy their immediate needs. Volunteering with NourishPHX means our Phillips Law Group team members who step in to lend a hand are helping meet those needs, too.
This was actually the firm’s second opportunity to assist at the organization’s food pantry, and the volunteer event went very smoothly. The goal of this partnership is to have at least one opportunity for volunteering with NourishPHX every month, in whatever way Phillips Law Group can help in their food pantry or with any other tasks.
