ELOY, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety released the identities of the two victims killed in a wrong-way collision on I-10 near Picacho Peak Wednesday.
According to KOLD News 13, 30-year-old Ernesto Molina was driving west in the eastbound lanes of the interstate shortly before 4 p.m. when he slammed into a Hyundai.
Both Molina and the driver of the Hyundai, 50-year-old Kimberly Skelley, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No other occupants were in either of the vehicles.
The eastbound lanes of I-10 were shut down for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes reopened later that evening.
