Compensation:

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Paralegal to support our attorneys in managing and resolving clients’ tax debt issues. This role involves conducting legal research, preparing and filing documents, communicating with clients and tax authorities, and ensuring that all case handling is compliant with state and federal laws. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tax law, exceptional organizational skills, and a drive to provide outstanding client service.

Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and case precedents.
Prepare legal documents, including tax forms, petitions, briefs, and appeals, related to tax debt relief cases.
Communicate with clients to gather information and keep them informed about the status of their cases.
Manage case files and maintain detailed records of all correspondence and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations related to tax law.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a paralegal, ideally with a focus on tax law or debt relief.
Strong understanding of tax law and procedures.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program a plus.
