Police Looking for Suspect in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run

PHOENIX, AZ – Police are seeking the driver who seriously injured a pedestrian late Wednesday night and then fled the scene.

According to CBS 5, the incident occurred shortly before midnight as the victim was walking just north of the crosswalk at the intersection of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road. The driver left the scene without stopping to render aid.

A second motorist happened across the seriously injured man and alerted authorities.

Police have not released identifying information about the car or its driver.
