On Saturday, April 12, volunteers from Phillips Law Group assisted in putting on an Easter event to benefit kids served by a local organization our firm regularly helps out. The Maggie’s Place Easter Egg Hunt was a huge hit, with lots of children from toddlers to teenagers joining in the fun.
Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza

In the days leading up to this Maggie’s Place Easter Egg Hunt, volunteers from the firm stuffed eggs to use at the event so they’d be ready to go and full of fun treats for the kids in attendance. In total, they put together about 1,500 eggs.
“The Easter Egg Hunt was so cute and fun,” Christian Conrad, Phillips Law Group’s Social Media Specialist, said of the event. She explained that the volunteers organized the participants into four groups of kids: babies to 2-year-olds, kids aged 3 to 7, children in the 8 to 12 age group, and finally, teenagers.
“The two middle groups were so rambunctious and were getting the eggs so quickly, we actually had to put more out while they were still searching for them!” she said.

In fact, thanks to the prep work before the egg hunt, there were almost too many eggs prepared to be hunted down by happy kids on the day of the event!
“There were quite a lot of eggs left over that we were able to do a bonus round where everyone was able to hunt,” Christian explained. “It was kind of an all-ages round.”
Volunteers Make All the Difference

At the Easter event, one of the Maggie’s Place staff members even brought a real bunny for the kids to enjoy, as well as anyone else in attendance. Christian noted that it was “so cute” to be able to hold the critter in question.
Phillips Law Group has volunteered with Maggie’s Place before, and we plan to help them out often in the future. This type of community service is a cornerstone of the work we do at Phillips Law Group, in addition to our mission to make legal services affordable to everyone and to see justice done for our clients.
We have lots of volunteer opportunities coming up, and we know how much of a difference this work makes. We would love to have you join us at a future event!
