TUCSON, AZ – A woman died as the result of a single-vehicle collision in midtown Tucson Sunday morning.
According to KOLD, the crash happened at about 9 a.m. within the 5700 block of East Picacho Street, which is inside Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
Both local police and military personnel responded to the scene, where they discovered that a 2019 Honda HR-V had crashed into a roadside culvert. Investigators believe 18-year-old Diamond Aaliyah Rose failed to negotiate a curve while traveling west on E. Picacho Street and crashed into the culvert.
Unfortunately, Rose died at the scene. No other injuries were reported from the crash.
