Victim of Head-On Collision in Chandler Identified

CHANDLER, AZ – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) have identified the man killed as the result of a previously reported wrong-way collision early Wednesday morning.

According to ABC 15, 31-year-old Bobby Kramer, a local mixologist, died after his vehicle was struck head-on by another vehicle at about 12:30 a.m. on I-10 near Chandler Avenue.

Dispatchers received numerous reports of a driver traveling east in the westbound lanes of the interstate near Ray Road. Shortly after those initial reports, further calls came in alerting police to a major collision at the Chandler Road overpass.

Kramer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The 25-year-old woman responsible for the collision was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Her identity is being withheld at this time.
