Juvenile DUI Suspect May Face Criminal Charges

Car keys and alcohol glassesTUCSON, AZ – A juvenile driver may be facing serious criminal charges after a deadly crash on I-10 Monday afternoon, KOLD reports.

Police say a vehicle driven by a minor collided with a second vehicle in the eastbound lanes near the 22nd Street exit at about 3 p.m. that afternoon. The 65-year-old man driving the second vehicle was killed as a result of the crash.

The juvenile was taken into custody and later released. Charges are pending at this time

All eastbound lanes were closed following the accident, causing significant delays in the area. Traffic began to flow again at about 5:30 p.m.
