Two Cars Catch Fire After Crash, Injuring Multiple People

fire truck racing to scene daytimeTUCSON, AZ – Multiple people were injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash near downtown Tucson last week.

According to KOLD News 13, two vehicles collided along I-10 near the exit to Congress Street sometime before 9 a.m. on September 3rd.

The wreck caused both vehicles to catch fire, injuring at least two people. While the extent or severity of these injuries is not clear, they are not believed to be life-threatening.

Work crews restricted access to some of the lanes following the accident, causing traffic to back up on I-10. All lanes have since reopened.
