VAIL, AZ – All westbound lanes of I-10 were shut down following a collision between two tractor-trailers near Vail last Friday afternoon.
According to KOLD, the two trucks collided shortly before noon near the exit to Marsh Station Road. The impact caused one of the trailers to roll onto its side.
At least one person was seriously injured in the wreck, although no specifics were given in the report. All westbound lanes were closed while emergency crews worked to clear the freeway.
