Pedestrian Hit by Car Suffers Serious Injuries

GLENDALE, AZ – A pedestrian is in the hospital in critical condition after getting hit by a car at a busy intersection in Glendale early Monday morning.

According to CBS 5, the accident happened around 1 a.m. Police say an unidentified pedestrian was crossing near the intersection of 47th and Olive Avenue and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Investigators believe they were crossing outside of the designated crosswalk at the time of the collision.

The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
