Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver from Last Month

PHOENIX, AZ – An 18-year-old woman is working with police to determine the identity of the driver who struck her with their vehicle and then fled the scene last month.

According to CBS 5, Mayson Ginn was on her way to high school on the morning of November 2nd when she walked into the intersection of 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road and was hit by a car making a left turn.

Ginn was launched several feet into the air before hitting the ground. She sustained a broken nose, a concussion, and multiple shattered teeth.

While surveillance video from a nearby business captured the accident, the camera did not have a clear view of the vehicle, and the hunt for a suspect remains ongoing.
