PHOENIX, AZ – Motorists in north Phoenix were met with significant delays resulting from a rush-hour collision on Loop 101 Wednesday morning.
According to a tweet by Arizona DOT, the crash occurred at about 7:20 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway, just west of 43rd Avenue.

The circumstances of the crash are unclear. However, at least two left eastbound lanes remained closed until about 7:45 a.m., when traffic begin slowly moving again.
