Women4Women Tempe Partners with Phillips Law Group Volunteers

Phillips Law Group is very proud of the volunteer partnerships the firm fosters in the Arizona community. One of the volunteer opportunities our team regularly participates in is with Women4Women Tempe, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing feminine hygiene products to homeless and low-income women in Tempe. 

The official mission of Women4Women Tempe is “to help homeless and low-income women in our communities maintain their dignity, health, and self-respect by providing feminine hygiene products to those in need,” and they participate in direct action by distributing bags with feminine hygiene products to those women out in the community. The organization has been doing this important work since August 2017, and they donated thousands of bags last year alone!

Women4Women Tempe became a 501(c)3 in 2018 and is an all-volunteer organization. That means they need all the help they can get with the work they do, and Phillips Law Group is happy to help by hosting regular packing parties. At these packing parties, volunteers from the firm put together bags with feminine products for homeless or low-income people, all while enjoying each other’s great company. 

The organization delivers approximately 3,500 pad and tampon bags a month to over 40 distribution sites, according to its website. So you can imagine just how much the volunteers at Phillips Law Group do to help out at the firm’s packing parties. At one recent “party,” Phillips volunteers put together more than 450 bags!

While we are very proud as a company to serve our clients and secure justice for those who have been harmed by the negligence of others, we are also immensely proud to serve our community through these volunteer opportunities, too. Phillips Law Group is committed to giving back through outreach efforts whenever possible, and our partnership with Women4Women Tempe is one of the great examples of how we get to do so.

We work hard to give back to our community through various volunteer events like these packing parties with Women4Women Tempe, and it’s rare for a week to go by without Phillips Law Group offering some sort of volunteer opportunity to our team. That commitment to our community is something that hasn’t changed since our founding in 1993.
