Fatal Crash in Avondale Near I-10 and Fairway Drive

AVONDALE, AZ – One person was killed and one person suffered injuries resulting from a crash involving three vehicles in Avondale on Saturday night, 3TV/CBS 5 reports.

The collision occurred near the I-10 and Fairway Drive shortly before 11 p.m.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was transported to a nearby hospital and has since been released.

The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. Authorities continue to investigate.
