TUCSON, AZ – Police in Tucson are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run collision that took the life of a pedestrian on Sunday night.
According to KOLD, the man was struck at about 8 p.m. while walking in the area of Sahuara Avenue and East 22nd Street.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
Officers believe the vehicle involved in the crash was a dark-colored sedan or hatchback that sustained significant front-end damage.
