Rollover Crash on I-10 Leaves Five Kids Hurt, One Dead

TONOPAH, AZ – Five children were hospitalized and one was killed Monday following a multi-vehicle crash on I-10 near Tonopah, KTAR reports.

State troopers say three vehicles were involved in the collision, which happened around 5 p.m. on January 18. One vehicle hit the median and overturned, ejecting six children. A 10-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene The surviving children, who range in age from 10 to 14, were flown to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

It is still unclear what may have led up to the crash or if anyone else was injured as a result.
