Man Killed in Phoenix Hit-and-Run Crash

Police Line Do Not Cross tapePHOENIX, AZ – Police are searching for the driver who fled the scene following a deadly collision in west Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.

According to a report by Fox 10 Phoenix, the incident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. A westbound sedan went through the stop sign at Williams Street and 75th Avenue and slammed into a southbound pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup, 55-year-old Lewis Kemp, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the driver of the sedan fled the scene on foot. That person has not been identified at this time.
