PEORIA, AZ – Emergency services in Peoria reported major delays on Loop 101 Saturday evening following a multi-vehicle crash and ensuing fire.

According to AZ Family, the accident occurred on Loop 101 near Grand Avenue just after 5:00 p.m. Nearby ADOT cameras revealed at least five vehicles stopped on the highway, one of which had burst into flames.

There have been no injuries reported. However, the incident delayed traffic in the northbound lanes of Loop 101 for over two hours.
