PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix Police are investigating an incident involving a vehicle that crashed into a building.
According to ABC 15, the Phoenix Fire Department was called to a crash near 7th Avenue and Baseline Road Sunday morning where they found a single vehicle that had crashed into an empty building. Fire rescue evaluated the driver of the vehicle and found that he had wounds that were not consistent with the crash.
Police told the news outlet that the man had “old gunshot wounds” and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The man was reportedly speeding before he crashed his vehicle into the building, according to the report. Police say the crash does not appear to be a result of a shooting.
No word on the identity or condition of the man involved in the crash.
