PHOENIX, AZ – Fire investigators in Phoenix are working to establish the cause of a residential blaze that took the life of an unnamed man Thursday afternoon, ABC 15 reports.
The house fire was reported at approximately 12:45 p.m. at a home near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.
Firefighters determined that the sole occupant in the home had died after sustaining “extensive burns to his body.” The male victim has not yet been identified, pending notification of family members.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. However, investigators do not suspect foul play.
