PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a car crash occurred sometime before 4 a.m. early Wednesday morning near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Police believe intoxication may have been a factor in the two-vehicle crash that damaged gas lines in West Phoenix.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, both drivers, a man and a woman, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The intersection was closed for several hours while Southwest Gas crews worked to repair the ruptured gas lines.
