Phillips Law Group Begins New Partnership With Maggie’s Place

As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to community outreach, Phillips Law Group is always looking for meaningful opportunities to get involved in the Phoenix, Arizona community. In 2023, the firm began a new partnership with Maggie’s Place, an organization dedicated to welcoming “pregnant and parenting women and their children into a safe and loving community, providing life-changing programs and ongoing services to help them to become self-sufficient.”

The organization does incredible work toward the goal of helping moms with direct support services, parenting and child enrichment, and more. Some of its programs include providing secure housing for pregnant women and their infants, offering enrichment programs in areas like safe sleep and car seat safety education, and providing workforce development and financial literacy learning opportunities. 

As part of Phillips Law Group’s new partnership with Maggie’s Place, volunteers from the firm will be volunteering with Maggie’s Place twice a month for the rest of the year. The company has also set an ambitious goal of donating 500 diapers every month to Maggie’s Place as part of a diaper drive!

Our collaboration with this amazing organization kicked off in early March, with several volunteers from Phillips participating in an event involving making birthday cards for children of mothers being served by Maggie’s Place. Volunteers from the firm worked together on the project to begin what is sure to be a long-running and productive partnership with the organization. 

The work Maggie’s Place does to help mothers uphold dignity and to provide support for people experiencing barriers to thriving is incredibly important, and Phillips Law Group is honored to work with them to build an inclusive community for the individuals they help each and every day.

At Phillips, we take great pride in being involved with all of the communities where a Phillips Law Group office is located. We are always in need of volunteers for community events we work on and organize, including our work with Feeding Arizona to help the homeless population in Phoenix.
