According to CBS 5, the three-vehicle collision occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the westbound on-ramp to Loop 202 at Priest Drive.

Investigators believe the driver of a black Toyota pickup truck was heading in the wrong direction on Priest Drive and went through a red light before crashing into two other vehicles.

Both occupants in the Toyota were hospitalized in serious condition. The drivers of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.

Police say alcohol may have played a role in the crash. However, the investigation remains underway as of Monday.
