Teenager Dies Several Days After Central Tucson Crash

blue police lights on top of police car at nightTUCSON, AZ – A teen driver died several days after a major high-speed collision that took place in central Tucson last week.

According to the Arizona Daily Star, the accident occurred on Monday, September 27th. Mouayad Mohammed Khairalla, 19, lost control of his southbound 2012 BMW on Swan Road near 22nd Street, skidded into the oncoming lanes, and slammed into a Ford Expedition.

Both drivers and a passenger in the Ford were hospitalized after the crash. Khairalla died at the hospital on Monday.
