BUCKEYE, AZ – Two riders were rushed to the hospital after their moped crashed in Buckeye on Wednesday night, 12 News reports.
The accident occurred sometime before 10 p.m. when the operator of a southbound moped failed to negotiate a curve on Indian School Road near Sunrise Lane.
The moped skidded out of control and crashed into the median.
A man and a woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition. Neither was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
