Man Hit and Killed in Train Accident in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A man was killed after being struck by a Union Pacific train in midtown Tucson early Tuesday morning.
According to KOLD News 13, the crash occurred at about 4:30 a.m. just south of Miracle Mile, close to Grant Road and I-10.
Details regarding the identity of the man and why he was on the train tracks at the time of the crash remain unclear at this time. Officials with the railroad have not reported any other injuries.
