Morning Traffic Delays Due to I-17 Crash Near Bethany Home Road

PHOENIX, AZ – Commuters in the Alhambra area faced delays Wednesday morning following a rush-hour collision on I-17.

Arizona DOT reported that the crash occurred around 7:12 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Bethany Home Road.

There are few other details available about the crash at this time. We also do not know if anyone was injured as a result of the incident.

The collision wreckage blocked at least one right lane for more than an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. However, all lanes reopened again shortly after 8:30 a.m.
