Two Adults, One Child Hospitalized After Phoenix Crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Three people, including a child, were rushed to area hospitals following a motor vehicle collision in west Phoenix Thursday morning.

According to CBS 5, the two-vehicle crash took place shortly before 8 a.m. within the intersection of 87th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Police believe an unidentified male driver was traveling south on 87th Ave. when he ran through a red light and was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The man responsible for the crash was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A woman and a child from the westbound vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
