Stolen Car Crashes Into Car and Bus, Leaving Three Injured

PHOENIX, AZ – Three individuals were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision involving a city bus early Tuesday morning.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the accident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. near the intersection of 16th Street and Van Buren.

Police say the driver of a stolen vehicle ran the red light at 16th Street and collided with the bus and a third vehicle.

The two occupants of the stolen vehicle, a 35-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, were hospitalized in serious condition, while a 40-year-old man in the other vehicle was treated for less severe injuries.

No passengers on the bus were reported to be injured as a result of the crash.

Police have not released the identities of those involved at this time. We will continue to monitor this developing story for any pertinent updates.
