Tuesday Wrong-Way Crash on US-60 Injures Six

law books with sign saying DUI lawGOLD CANYON, AZ – Six people sustained injuries and one man was taken into custody following a suspected DUI crash on US-60 Tuesday night.

According to a report by 12 News, the accident was reported sometime before 10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just north of SR-79.

The cause of the crash and the number of vehicles involved are both unclear at this time. However, at least six people were reportedly injured as a result. Some were treated at the scene as others were transported to nearby hospitals.

The driver responsible for the crash, an unidentified 61-year-old man from Chino Valley, was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
