Police Trying to Find Hit-and-Run Crash Suspect

PHOENIX, AZ – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run collision that took the life of a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

According to KTAR, the pedestrian was struck by a gray Chrysler PT Cruiser in the northbound lanes of I-17 near the exit to Buckeye Road shortly before 3 a.m.

Authorities have not released any identifying information about the driver at this time. They are urging anyone that may have knowledge that could lead to an arrest in this case to come forward as soon as possible.
