Pedestrian Struck By School Bus, Seriously Hurt

police line do not cross tapePEORIA, AZ – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a school bus in Peoria on Thursday morning, ABC 15 reports.

The incident took place at about 9 a.m. when the victim was crossing near 107th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.

The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital for the treatment of potentially life-threatening injuries. It is unclear if any of the three children who were on the bus at the time were injured in the crash.

Investigators are working to establish the sequence of events that led up to the collision.
