PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ – Three people were killed in a head-on collision just northeast of Prescott Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
According to 12 News, the incident occurred on SR-89A at about 3 p.m., when a Chrysler Sebring drifted into the oncoming lanes near milepost 331 and slammed into a Honda Accord.
The driver of the Sebring and both women in the Honda suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.
Investigators have not yet ruled out impairment as a possible cause for the crash.
