One Killed in Fiery Crash on Loop 101 in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – One person was killed in a fiery crash along Loop 101 in Scottsdale last night.

According to a report by ABC 15, a motorcyclist and at least one other vehicle were blocking the HOV lane near Hayden Road when another car careened into them shortly before 6 p.m.

Troopers confirmed a single fatality as a result of the crash. The victim’s identity remains unclear at this time.

It is unclear why the two vehicles were stopped in the roadway. However, investigations are ongoing.
