Phoenix Pedestrian Accident Critically Injures Man

On Thursday, Aug. 13, a man was critically injured when he was hit by a car while walking with his bicycle on 35th Avenue in Phoenix, the Arizona Republic reported.

Phoenix Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said the victim was struck by a car traveling south on 35th Avenue near Myrtle Avenue at 5 a.m. last Thursday. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. The motorist remained at the accident scene and cooperated with officers.
