Man Hit and Killed on Smith-Enke Road in Maricopa

MARICOPA, AZ – A young man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Maricopa on Friday, August 20th.

According to a report by the Maricopa Monitor, 23-year-old Jordan Mickell was walking on Smith-Enke Road around 4 a.m., near Province Parkway when he was hit.

Despite the life-saving efforts attempted by responding officers, Mickell died at the scene.

The driver involved in the fatal collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
