Yuma Hit-and-Run Crash Leaves Man in Critical Condition

YUMA, AZ – A man was rushed to a Yuma hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning.
According to KYMA, KECY, the 41-year-old victim was hit at about 9:30 a.m. as he attempted to cross South 4th Avenue at 16th Street.
The man was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and subsequently airlifted to a Phoenix hospital for further treatment.
The driver who hit the man fled the scene before police arrived. No further information on their identity is available at this time.
