One Killed, One Injured in Crash in Northeast Gilbert

ambulance responding to early morning crash in gilbert GILBERT, AZ – A woman is dead and another person was rushed to the hospital following a collision in northeast Gilbert last Friday.

According to CBS 5, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 6:15 a.m. along Higley Road, near the intersection with Houston Avenue.

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on one of the drivers, a 25-year-old woman. They were unsuccessful and pronounced her dead at the scene.

The other unidentified driver was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this time.
