TEMPE, AZ – A teen girl was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident in North Tempe on Monday morning.
According to CBS 5, the 14-year-old girl was struck at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of College Avenue and Continental Drive, just outside of Tonalea K-8 School.
Police say she suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the crash at this time.
