North 89th Avenue Crash Results in One Death

PHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed as the result of a multi-vehicle collision in west Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon.

According to CBS 5, the head-on crash took place at about 1 p.m. on Indian School Road near the intersection with North 89th Avenue.

The man’s identity has not yet been released.

Update: 28-Year-Old Man Identified as Victim in Fatal West Phoenix Crash

Authorities with the Phoenix Police Department have released the identity of the man who was killed.

28-year-old Dylan Strong was eastbound on Indian School Road when his vehicle drifted across the center line near 89th Avenue and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on.

Strong was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The head-on collision led to a secondary crash involving a third vehicle. It is unclear whether anyone besides Strong was injured.
