Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With Truck in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ ”“ A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck north of Phoenix Tuesday morning.

According to AZ Family, the crash occurred near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and New River Road near the Outlets at Anthem around 8:00 a.m.

Police say Ryan Speerbreacher, 29, was killed after he crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic and struck a pickup truck head-on.

Speerbreacher was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was unhurt and remained on the scene cooperating with police.

An investigation is underway into what caused the motorcyclist to cross into oncoming traffic.
