Motorcycle Rider Killed in Crash Near Goodyear Crossing

GOODYEAR, AZ – A man is dead following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle near Goodyear Crossing late Thursday evening.

According to CBS 5, the accident occurred within the intersection of MC-85 and South Cotton Lane shortly before 7:00 p.m.

The motorcyclist died at the scene. Details regarding injuries suffered by the female driver of the other vehicle have not been made available.

Traffic detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash. No identifying information on either person has been made public at this time.
