Two Minors Injured in Crash at 47th and Northern Avenue

long exposure of police car lightsGLENDALE, AZ – Two minors were rushed to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash in northeast Glendale on Saturday.

According to ABC 15, the incident occurred sometime before 5 p.m. at the intersection of 47th Avenue and Northern Avenue.

Police believe the driver of a vehicle heading west on Northern Ave. ran a red light and collided with a vehicle that was turning left onto 47th Ave.

A 10-year-old and a 13-year-old in the second vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. We do not know if anyone else was hurt as a result of the crash.

The driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if they will face any charges at this time.
