Crash on I-10 in Phoenix Leaves One Man Dead

PHOENIX, AZ – Investigators with the Phoenix Police Department reported a single fatality resulting from a collision along I-10 on Christmas morning.
According to CBS 5, Edward Martinez, 21, was traveling westbound on I-10 at around 1:30 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his pickup truck near the 67th Avenue off-ramp.
The truck skidded off the roadway and struck the median and several traffic poles. Martinez was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
