Driver Unhurt After Hitting Multiple Cars, Utility Pole

PHOENIX, AZ – A man was taken to the hospital Saturday after he was pulled from an RV that had careened into multiple cars before destroying a utility pole.

According to CBS 5, the collision occurred in the afternoon, near the intersection of 32nd Avenue and Bell Road.

Police believe the RV’s unidentified male driver suffered a medical issue before crashing the vehicle and becoming pinned inside. Emergency crews had to cut the power to the utility pole before freeing the man from the wreckage.

No serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash. At this time, the driver’s condition remains unknown.
