Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured in Tolleson Crash

TOLLESON, AZ – A man was rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a car in Tolleson last night.

According to ABC 15, the man was hit sometime Monday night while he was walking in the roadway near 99th Avenue and Van Buren Street. The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the events leading up to the crash. However, police do not believe that impairment was a factor.
