Crash Blocks HOV Lanes on Loop 101

SCOTTSDALE, AZ ”“ A wreck blocked the HOV lane along Loop 101 in east Scottsdale following a rush-hour crash on Thursday morning.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the incident was reported at about 8:13 a.m. and occurred within the northbound lanes of Loop-101 near the exit to East McKellips Road.

The cause of the crash remains unclear at this time. While no injuries have been reported, an ambulance was called to the scene.

The HOV lane was closed for about half an hour, opening shortly before 8:40 a.m.
