Juvenile Driver to Blame for Fatal Phoenix Bus Stop Crash

bus stop sign in phoenixPHOENIX, AZ – Investigators with the Phoenix Police Department believe a juvenile driver is to blame for a fatal collision at a bus stop last Thursday.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, a Toyota pickup truck crashed into a bus stop near the intersection of North 23rd Avenue and Camelback Road, hitting two men who were waiting there.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was hospitalized in critical condition but is expected to survive. Their identities are being withheld at this time.

The driver of the pickup, a minor, was assessed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. It is unclear what charges the minor may face.
